Maersk will introduce a temporary emergency bunker surcharge on new cargo bookings from March 25. This move aims to ensure the movement of essential items amid the ongoing crisis in West Asia. The surcharge will apply globally, including India. It will range from 100 to 600 USD depending on container size and type.
