India and Chile have formalized terms to negotiate a comprehensive free trade pact, building upon their existing preferential trade agreement from 2006. The proposed CEPA aims to broaden cooperation across digital services, investment, MSMEs, and critical minerals. Both nations anticipate strengthened bilateral ties and plan to commence discussions in New Delhi this May.
