India has resumed imports of permanent magnets from China after the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) began issuing certificates. These certificates assure that the magnets will not be used for defense purposes or re-exported to the United States. The DGFT has issued approximately 30 certificates, one for each consignment, streamlining the process for import.
