Saudi Arabia showcases soft power & attractiveness via unique exposition in Delhi

The Ministry of Media, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concluded its first international edition of Media Oasis in New Delhi. The event showcased the achievements made in more than 20 projects under Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the country economically, socially, and culturally. The exhibition featured interactive exhibits that allowed visitors to experience these initiatives.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed various areas of potential trade and investment, defence and security, civil aviation and shipping. Erdogan highlighted India as Turkey’s greatest trade partner in South Asia.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud held discussions on expanding bilateral trade and defense ties. They co-chaired the first meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council (SPC).

The minister suggests opening an India trade office in Riyadh and a Saudi investment office in GIFT City, Gandhinagar to facilitate trade and investments between the two countries.

India and Saudi Arabia have signed over two dozen Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between private companies in various sectors such as IT, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and human resources.
