According to a report by CareEdge Ratings, the Indian domestic shipping industry is expected to sustain its performance in the current fiscal year, although there may be some moderation in operating margins. Earlier, the first ODC for Numaligarh was received by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Numaligarh Refinery jetty. NRL entered an MoU with Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) to ferry ODC/OWC for the expansion project of NRL. capacity from 3 MMT to 9 MMT.
“Under the green tug transition programme, the Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Paradip Port, VOC Port and the Deendayal Port will be buying two green tugs each. In addition, hydrogen hubs will be set up at VOC and Deendayal ports to catalyse the transition towards green fuel,” a senior official aware of the development told ET.
