Global logistics operator DP World has signed an initial pact with the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to develop a new port at Vadhavan. The location of Vadhavan, along the Arabian coast near Mumbai and Gujarat, makes it an attractive trade gateway.

The company stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and has implemented measures to ensure the safety of its employees. The Haifa Port contributes only 3% to Adani Ports’ total cargo volume.
