Kenya has successfully exported its first shipment of avocado fruit to India after eight years of negotiations. This marks the first time Kenya has received permission to export this “sensitive and short self-life” agro-commodity. Kenya is the world’s sixth-largest avocado producer, exporting about 23% of its production to various countries.
