India’s seafood exports remained relatively stable at USD 7.45 billion in 2024-25, although the volume of shipments decreased to 16,98,170 tonnes. Frozen shrimp continued to be the top export, with the United States and China being the primary importers of Indian seafood. The US imported seafood worth USD 2.71 billion.
