An explosion struck the Singapore-flagged container ship MV Wan Hai 503 off Kerala’s coast. The Maritime Operations Centre in Mumbai reported the underdeck blast, leading to the diversion of INS Surat and planned reconnaissance by a Navy Dornier aircraft.
