The export goods include pharmaceuticals, gems and jewellery, textiles, and machinery, while imports (USD 4.06 billion) include pulses, timber, pulp and paper, and mining products.

More than 2000 exhibitors are participating in the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show- a first of its kind event being held in UP to showcase products manufactured in the state to B2B and B2C buyers from India and abroad. More than 70,000 B2B from 70 countries have registered for the trade show.

“There has been a lot of momentum in the talks that were taking place on the new trade deal. And for that to be suspended, probably for a significant period of time, I just see that as a blow to both of these countries.”
